What we do with your details

What we keep

• Your email address, because it is how you sign in and how we tell you your site is ready.
• What you typed about your business: your trade, the towns you work in, the jobs you do, and anything you gave us to put on the site.
• The enquiries people send through your site. Their names, numbers and messages sit in your account so you can work through them.
• A record of what you bought and what you have spent, so your account can show you.

Why we keep it

To build your site, to run it, and to hand you the work it brings in. That is the whole list. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not follow you around other websites.

Who else sees it

Four companies do work for us, and this is the whole list.

• Cloudflare. They run the computers your site and ours sit on, they hold the database, and they count visits for us. Everything you type reaches us through them.
• Resend. They carry our email. When we send you a sign-in code or tell you a build has finished, your address goes to them so the message can be delivered.
• Google and Anthropic. Their software writes the words on your site from the answers you gave us. Those answers go to them while your site is being built. That happens on our computers, not in your browser, and it does not happen to the people who contact you.

Each of them does the job we hired them for and nothing else with it. We do not sell any of it. We do not pass it to advertisers. Nobody outside your account can read one of your enquiries.

What this page loads

Two things on the page you are reading come from somewhere else. The lettering is fetched from Google, so your browser asks Google for it. Cloudflare counts that the page was viewed. We use that count to see which pages people read, and we do not use it to follow you to other websites.

Counts about groups

We do use counts about groups: how many enquiries businesses like yours receive, what time of day they arrive, how many turn out to be worth calling. Those figures never carry anybody’s name, and we build it so they cannot be worked back to a person rather than only promising it.

Getting a copy, or having it deleted

You can download every enquiry from your account whenever you want. For anything else — a copy of what we hold about you, or a request to delete it — write to hello@stayaheadtech.com and say which you want. We will need to know it is you before we send anything or delete anything.

Deleting your details ends the service, because we cannot run a site without the answers it was built from. We will say so before we act, not after.

The people who contact you

Someone who fills in the form on your site is your customer, not ours. What they send is yours, and the terms say so. Telling them what you do with it is your job, on your own site, and we will help you do it.
